This year marks a significant milestone for the Chuck Mathena Center as we celebrate Candace Wilson’s 10th anniversary with us. For a decade, Candace has been an integral part of our team, bringing unwavering dedication, creativity, and a deep passion for the arts that has enriched our community and transformed our center.
Candace joined the Chuck Mathena Center in 2014, and from day one, her impact was both immediate and profound. Her innovative approach to programming and her keen eye for talent have played a crucial role in elevating our events and expanding our reach. Under her stewardship, we have seen a remarkable growth in both the diversity and quality of our offerings, ranging from intimate performances to large-scale productions.
Her commitment extends beyond her professional responsibilities. Candace has consistently been a source of inspiration and support for her colleagues and the many artists and performers who grace our stage. Her leadership style, characterized by inclusivity and encouragement, has fostered a collaborative and thriving environment at the Chuck Mathena Center.
In reflecting on her journey, Candace’s contributions are not just measured in successful events or sold-out shows, but also in the countless smiles, standing ovations, and memories created over the years. Her enthusiasm for the arts and her genuine care for our community have made the Chuck Mathena Center a beacon of cultural enrichment.
As we celebrate this milestone, we extend our deepest gratitude to Candace Wilson for her decade of exceptional service. Her passion and dedication continue to inspire us all, and we look forward to many more years of shared success and creative endeavors.
In the true nature of her dedication to the arts, Wilson has asked to launch a donation campaign for the month of September where community members are able to donate $10 for 10 years of service. Each dollar donated will help fund special arts events CMC sponsors for our local schools.
Congratulations, Candace, on this remarkable achievement. Here’s to celebrating your past successes and to the exciting future that lies ahead!
